WUOC Sprint
Todays Sprint Distance offered a fast but tricky challenge. My race was good and I finished on the 23rd spot which is a bit of my goal to be among the 20 fastest runners. Fridays Middle Distance competition still gives me a chance to achieve that. Tomorrows Long Distance day will be a resting day for me and I’ll support the Austrian runners in charge as well as possible.

It’s been quite a while since my last update and a lot of things have happened. My studies have proceeded very well and only little is left. It should be an easy winter term this year and somehow it even seems a little bit too early to leave the university… On the sportive side there were some motivation problems in the winter besides the extra time I spent on my studies and I didn’t train that much. Im Rahmen von O-Ringen fanden auch heuer wieder 3 Weltcup Läufe statt. Sprint, Lang und Mitteldistanz bildeten ein dichtes, aufregendes und sehr technisch anspruchsvolles Programm.

Erstmals in der über 40-jährigen Geschichte unseres Fachverbandes, findet ein Diplomtrainerlehrgang statt. Maximal 5 ausgebildete OL-Trainer werden nach Einschicken der Bewerbungsunterlagen von einem Selektionsgremium zugelassen. Achtung: Anmeldeschluß ist bereits der 11.August!
