Im off tomorrow to Slovenia, for the Cerkno Cup. This is my third trip to Slovenia, after the Lipica Open in 2003 and the Orienteering Online Cup in 2004 (before it became too big). From experience, the terrain there is fantastic, easily good enough for World Championships, and great fun. Were going for a 3-day training camp before the event, and then 3 days of competition, and the latest count is 17 Israelis at the event - almost a record for participation in a competition abroad, not counting ...

Kart Bosse designed a little park orienteering course on a photograph of the garden of an Italian castle. The text on the photo gives two alternatives for the competition: (1) jumping over the hedges is allowed; (2) jumping over the hedges is prohibited.
