8th place in the World Champs middle - and 6th in the relay
Im still slightly disappointed after Thursdays middle distance performance. I had planned to use a safe tactics and that was ruined already during the first leg where I didnt understand almost anything what was on the map (I lacked the skills, it wasnt because of the map). I could handle that situation with the sense of direction and mistake was not too big. On my way to the 5th control I had a long blackout period and I was almost out of the game due to that. That mistake was too big to be cope ...

Thierry hämtad av ambulanshelikopter
Thierry Gueorgiou, Frankrike, hade bara kilometern kvar av sitt lopp i VM-stafetten när han svalde ett bi som stack honom i halsen. Fransmannen tog sig av egen kraft ut till sista kontrollen där han togs om hand av ambulanspersonal. Efter en halvtimme flögs han ivägmed ambulanshelikopter.Läs mer
